Miss Mitchell graduated in Medicine from the University of Edinburgh in 2006. During her time there she excelled by also achieving a First Class Bachelor of Science Honours degree (BSc Hons). She then went on to obtain a Master of Science (MSc) in Surgical Sciences before moving to Greater Manchester to pursue her passion for Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Miss Mitchell is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at the Northern Care Alliance (Oldham/Bury/Rochdale/Salford) and the Unit Lead for Gynae Oncology across the trust.
Miss Mitchell is a highly respected doctor who can help with a wide range of gynaecological conditions as outlined in the areas of expertise section below. She strives to offer the best quality care, listening and responding to individual needs and helping patients make informed choices. This is based on nearly two decades of experience in delivering clinical and surgical excellence. Following the appointment Miss Mitchell and her team will work quickly and diligently to make sure all tests, letters and procedures are actioned promptly, she recognises that quality and speed are so important especially when a patient might be anxious about their symptoms.
Currently clinics are available at Oaklands Private Hospital (see Private Practice section below) every other Wednesday morning and bookings can be made via the form below. Other dates and times may be available on request and all booking enquiries are responded to within 24 hours.
The new patient consultation fee for self-paying patients to see Miss Mitchell is £200 with follow up appointments at £150. Procedures, interventions and operations are charged in line with industry standards and pricing is available on request. All major healthcare insurance policies are also accepted including Bupa, Aviva, AXA Health and VitalityHealth.
